 Introduction
 What Is Redtacton
 HAN – Human Area Network
 Redtacton Principle
 Why RedTacton
 How It works
 Redtacton and it’s needs
 Functional Features of RedTacton
 Applications
 Comparison with other technologies
 Conclusion
 Redtacton uses the minute electric field emitted on
the surface of human body as medium for
    transmitting the data.

 RedTacton can achieve duplex communication over
the human body at a maximum speed of 10 Mbps.

 RedTacton works through shoes and clothing also.
 Red- Warmth,
 T-Touch ,
 Acton-Action.
 RedTacton: An innovative Human Area Networking
technology that uses the surface of the human body
  as a transmission path .

 Ituses the minute electric field emitted on the
surface of the human body as a safe high speed
  network transmission path.
 Also
known as P2P NETWORK or PICO net – point to
 point network.

 RedTacton involves initiating communication with a
touch that could result in a wide range of actions in
response. Transmission path is formed when a part
of the human body comes in contact.
 HAN uses human body as communication network
and uses the concept of Redtacton to transmit the
  data.
 HAN transmits the data between the human-
centered electronic devices and computers and
other network devices via total human natural
  Physical activities.
 Redtacton is based on the
    principle that optical
    properties of electro-optic
    crystal can vary
    according to changes
    in electric fields

 Redtacton allows information to be exchanged between
two transceivers without the need for a server to store
    or process information.
 Redtacton receiver and transceiver
  are two major devices
  in the transmission.
 Redtacton majorly depends
  on the human natural
  physical movements

                                        Reciever
 Transmitter sends data
 Transmitting transceiver
creates a change in the field
 Field from human body
dissipates into earth
 Electric field is received
using sensing technology
 Receiving transceiver
 recognizesthe change in the electric field
 Sensing technology measures the weak electric fields induced.
 Electro-optical crystal uses laser to convert and read the signal
 Restrictions over speed in Bluetooth and
    infrared tech. in multi-user environment

 Redtacton is the Human Area Networking
technology that uses the human body as a
    safe high speed networking transmission
    path.
RedTacton has 3 functional features

1. TOUCH

2. BROADBAND & INTERACTIVE

3. ANY-MEDIA
 Touch: Simple physical movements like touching, Gripping,
     sitting, walking are the triggers
    for starting the device.
 Interactive: As the transmission is the surface of the body,
transmission speed does not deteriorate in congested areas.
 Any media: In addition to the human body, various
conductors and dielectrics can be used as
    transmission media.
Automobile Applications

Conference Systems

Touch Advertising

Wireless Headset
 A Redtacton transceiver can be implanted in the gun and
programmed to a transceiver worn by a soldier so that only
the particular soldier could fire the weapon.
 This can reduce the black market of the weapons and the
misuse of stolen weapons can be reduced
Medical Applications
 Redtacton devices embedded
  medicine bottles transmit
  information on the medicines
  attributes. If the user touches
  the wrong medicine, an alarm
  will trigger.

 Anothercritical success factor is that the cost must not
outweigh the benefits provided by the technology. Also,
another factor is that the patients accept the technology.
Consumer Applications:

 The seat position and steering
wheel height adjust to
match the driver just by
sitting in the car.

 Automatic importing of
personal address book
and Electronic business cards
can be shared by shaking hands
 The performance of RedTacton
is better as compared to other
    technologies as Wi-Fi,
    Bluetooth, IrDA

 It is best to connect network
    within short distances.

 There is no any type of
problem of hackers as our body
    itself is the transmission media.
 RedTacton does not require the electrode to be in direct
    contact with the skin.

 Can transmit data at a rate higher than that of peer
    technologies. (max. of 10Mbps)

 RedTacton transceivers are programmable and we can decide
what to share with whom and what devices you communicate
    with.

 Each communication occurs in separate channels.

 Transmission speed does not deteriorate even though the
    number of users increases.
 Data loss during transfer is less

 Useof minimum amount of power (of some milli -volt
 range)

 Security is more.

 No problem of hackers . It is very hard to pick up
stray electronic signals radiating from the body.

 More secure than Bluetooth.

 Superior than infrared technology & Wi-Fi.
 We conclude that, when we compare RedTacton
with other technology present today it can give a
  better performance over others
 And we can say that to connect the network with in
  short distances RedTacton is best.
 In this technology there is no problem of hackers as
our body is itself a media.
