Our goal is to assess the demand for arts programs in the Rainier Valley (RV) and identify the best ways for arts organizations to work together to meet those needs Scope limited to Performing Arts We are in the middle of conducting a three month feasibility study for an arts consortium in RV Our Goal

Evaluatewhether a community-based arts consortium in South Seattle would be desirable Assessthe sufficiency of available resources to sustainably operate a community-based arts consortium Identifythe consortium’s primary activities Suggestthe consortium’s organizational structure and operational goals OBJECTIVEs OF THE FEASIBILITY STUDY
5. Value: Where are the current gaps in the RV arts community? What is the benefit of bringing a variety of arts organizations together? Can a consortium help? Demand:? Is there adequate demand for a consortium? Is there support among RV arts organizations and community members for a Consortium to aid in the growth of the arts and arts appreciation in general in the community? Capacity: Which organizations would be involved? Do these organizations, including Broadway Bound, have the capacity and resources to dedicate towards the consortium to make it successful? How would the consortium survive financially? Activities: What programs would the consortium be best suited to run? Which programs or activities would generate the most value for the community? Structure: What is the ideal structure of the consortium? How should the consortium operate to achieve maximum effectiveness? KEY QUESTIONS WE WILL ANSWER
