PrEP is only effective at preventing HIV
not STDS and pregnancy. Not a cure for
HIV, just a preventative method.
PrEP is most effective when taken daily.
PrEP will begin to work 7 days after
starting Truvada.
There can be mild to severe side effects.
PrEP is a long term commitment (e.g.
taking pill daily, monthly medical visits,
consistent STD/HIV testing).
PrEP SHOULD ALWAYS BE USED
WITH CONDOMS.
