Mamma
Mamma son tanto felice
Perche retorno da te
La mia canzone ti dice
Che il pui belgiorno per me
Mamma son tanto felice
Vivere lontano perche
Mamma solo per te
La mia canzone vola
Mamma sarai con me
Tu non sarai piu sola
Quanto ti voglio bene
Queste parole d’amore
Che ti sospira il mio cuore
Force non s’odono piu
Mamma ma la canzone mia
Piu bella sei tu
Sei tu la vita e per la vita non ti
lascio mai piu
Sento la mano tua stanca
Cerca i miei reccioli d’or
Sento e la voce ti manca
La ninna nanna d’allor

I enjoy discovering different cultures by learning languages Being brought up in an ethnic Tatar family in Moscow, I grew up speaking two language. At age 4 I was fluent in both tatar and russian. At 7 years old I asked my dad to teach me English alphabet. I learned some Italian a few years ago and it was a lot of fun reading books in Italian to my Italian nephew
After visiting Spain in 2003 I fell in love with the country. I started learning Spanish a couple of years ago in NY, and later traveled to cusco, peru to study at Spanish language school. I am currently an intermediate level Spanish student at Instituto Cervantez in New York.
Speaking different languages contributes both to my personal and professional development. When I am travelling, I enjoy being able to communicate with people in their native languages. It helps me to connect with people wherever I am. I think it conveys that I am genuinely interested in and respectful of their culture.
I enjoy listening to Luciano Pavarotti and understanding the lyrics. I love reading J. D. Salinger and Paulo Cuelho in the original.
Learning English helped me move from Moscow to New York. This move opened up new opportunities for my personal and professional growth.
In my professional life, speaking several languages made me more open minded and understanding of cultural differences in the work place. When my co-workers or clients find out that I speak their language, it immediately breaks the ice and establishes an atmosphere of trust.
Speaking Russian allowed me to win company CLASS (Competitive Leaders Achieve Superior Service) award for my part in the Superstorm Sandy recovery efforts in Russian-speaking areas of New York
I believe that after getting an MBA degree and entering the global job market, speaking several languages will makes me more competitive.
