2. Different Dog Breeds
• Cavalier King
• Bulldog Charles spaniel
• German shepherd
• Labrador
• Husky
• Staffordshire bull terrier
• Cocker spaniel
3. Bulldog
Whilst bulldogs are thought by some to make loving and
loyal pets who are courageous, strong and powerful, in
truth this can vary greatly between individual bulldogs.
4. German shepherd
German shepherds are often portrayed as military or police
dogs in films. But we’ve seen firsthand how German
shepherd puppies, like any breed, can grow into
intelligent, loving dogs if given the right training and
socialisation.
5. Husky
The Siberian husky (also known as the Arctic husky) is
thought to originate from East Siberia, where puppies were
bred to become long-distance sled-hauling dogs by the
Chukchi. The character of a husky is very much depend on
the upbringing of each puppy. Every husky is an individual
and should be treated as such.
6. Cavalier King Charles spaniels
Throughout history cavalier King Charles spaniels have been
sought out because of their close association with royalty
and wealth. The personality of a cavalier King Charles
spaniel has as much to do with its upbringing as its
parentage.
7. Labrador
Labrador retrievers were traditionally, and still are, used as
a type of gun dog. Labrador puppies have acquired a
reputation for being a good all round dog. Whilst this is true
in many cases, as with all dogs, we believe much of a
Labrador puppy's temperament is related to the individual
Lab, not the Labrador's breed.
8. Cocker spaniel
It's thought that originally called ‘cocking spaniels’ cocker
spaniels gained their name from flushing woodcock for
hunters - their small size made cocker spaniels ideal for
scaring ground-dwelling birds out of the hedgerows.
Today the cocker spaniel has gained a reputation for being
easy to train, eager to please and always happy.
9. Staffordshire bull terrier
Staffordshire bull terriers can be wonderful dogs who have
made loving family pets through many decades as they are
mainly well behaved, affectionate and playful.
