“Server Automation is exactly what we need!”
• Customer has a Homegrown solution that they are finding difficult to maintain.
• They need to drive an ordered sequence of patching/updating a Client/Server application
across many endpoints in what they call a ―Site‖.
• Each site has 1 Database Server, 1 Application Server and roughly 100 client computers.
They need to perform these process several times each month with Endpoint Manager:
• Upgrade the DB server
• If successful, upgrade the Application server
• If 1& 2 are successful upgrade the Client workstations
• If any Failures occur, stop further updates
