- 6. All organizations are ecosystems; a complex set of relationships all interacting with each other. Internal and external factors impact the ecosystem. Organizations vary greatly in size and the elements that make them up. Some are sustainable, some are changing.

- 10. Environment determines what will grow and what will not……..just like in an organization. Organizational culture, when sustainable, determines what types of people, actions, decisions, systems, and behaviors will flourish and which ones will not.
