Role : QA / QC Engineer
Job Accountabilities
Preparation of project quality documents (Project Quality Plan, Procedures, QA/QC plans, NDT
Plans, Method Statements, etc.) and coordination with Client / Inspection Agencies.
Weekly reporting of quality progress statistics and quality meetings with Client.
Conducting monthly preservation audits at site/warehouse/consumable storage and fabrication areas.
Analyzing product & processes performance statistics, NCR, CAR’s and their trends.
Planning & conducting QMS & Project internal audits in the organization.
Active participation in external audits (API Q1, 2B & 5L, ISO 9001 and other Customer audits)
Active participation in weekly quality review meetings & weekly quality walkthroughs at construction

achieving quality performance target in Nasr/Umm Lulu Phase-1 Project.
Nominated as Championing ICONS of the Department (CID).
Presented (on behalf of L&T MFY) the project “Reduction in Weld Repair Rates” at PERP 2014
organized by Frost & Sullivan at Mumbai.
Optimized the procurement of welding consumables for the job by effective planning and
continuous monitoring on weekly basis.
Continuously analyzed project defect percentage on weekly basis and controlled higher defect
rates by taking appropriate measures.
Controlled welder wise defect rate by identifying & taking necessary actions on the welders having
higher defect percentage (RCA, warning letters, TBTs etc).
Identified several quality related issues during weekly quality walkthroughs which could be major
non-compliances with high impact at the later stages.
