A highly motivated and dedicated individual both professionally and with my personal
life. A good communicator, I perceive myself as very approachable and committed to
achieve high standards and meeting deadlines. I am able to work in a group, and
also able to work efficiently as an individual. I can apply myself to a variety of

N.B
I am highly interested in all aspects of engineering, with an understanding that
the skills I have acquired in my previous roles are transferable. Therefore I am

ENGINEERING WORK EXPERIENCE
Troy Foods Leeds (engineer assistant) Jul 2011 – Feb 2012
As an engineering assistant I worked with engineers on the site, operating and
maintaining speller, dicer, slicer and bagging machines as well as inspection and
shaking tables.
Specific operations included changing and sharpening blades for different machines,
replacing rulers on the big speller machines, dismantling production equipment to be
clean up and later rebuild them back; also greasing all the equipment parked in the
factory on a daily basis.
CTMBH Tunis (Tunisia) Feb 2005 – Dec 2007
As engineer I operated and maintained a full range of medical and laboratory
equipment including repair, calibration and organizing maintenance planning and
preventive maintenance.
CENTRAL & PEADIATRIC HOSPITALS (CAMEROON) 1995-1996 and 1998-
2002
Working as principal engineering technician, I was in charge of hospital laboratory
maintenance team, liaising with contractors and the engineering department to make
sure orders and repairs are delivered on time manners. I also delivered training to
technician team when new machinery was acquired by the maintenance engineering
department of the hospital. I regularly participated or organised meetings making
suggestions and taking technical queries to the relevant team. I reported to the
senior Engineering manager.
Voluntary work experience
I worked for Organisation for conflict resolution and reconciliation Leeds: Dec
2012- Sept 2013
Duty included answering the telephone, meeting and assisting people coming into
the centre.
RSPCA Leeds volunteer shop assistant June 2012 – Aug 2012
Duties included serving customers, handling heavy goods during delivery, sorting
donations and using the till.
Retas Leeds: Receptionist (Volunteer) Jun 2009 – Jul 2011
I was part of the team welcoming people coming into the centre, answering
telephone and arranged appointments using the in-house computer system.
Pafras Leeds community (volunteer) Apr 2008 – May 2009
I gave general assistance to people seeking sanctuary in the UK, including
distributing food and clothes to destitute. I was an active member of the assistance
team, liaising with colleagues and helping to clarify client needs.
Hobbies/Interests
I enjoy reading medical and scientific reviews, keeping informed with current affairs
by reading newspapers and using other source of media, playing and watching
football and sometimes listening to music.
