in patients with mammographically dense breasts, or
inhomogeneous tissue on sonography, or both.
Both qualitative and quantitative criteria are needed for
lesion interpretation.
Preoperative post contrast breast MRI has the potential to
reveal mammographically & sonographically hidden
multifocal, multicenteric, or contralateral breast carcinoma
