The sheer volume of recruitments she has made for Infosys
alone shows her success as an HR professional. Infosys grew
from 250 employees in 1992 to nearly 40,000 in July 2005
At a time when the industry faces high attrition levels and
competition from MNCs to `poach’ employees from Indian
IT companies, Hema introduced novel methods and set new
benchmarks in HR practices, which make any techie dream
about joining Infosys one day!
Currently working with Mercer's global leaders to assist in
executing their change management strategies, re-engineering
their HR structures and processes, and where applicable, in
off-shoring them to more cost-effective locations
