Club Management System - This project was a database driven Windows application developed for Century Club, Kochi. The
solution required computerization of every activity of the club. For example, they had a front office, administrative section,
restaurant, bar, accommodation, swimming pool, cards room, shuttle room, etc. Each of these was a separate module in the
project.
Highlights
Responsible for the design, development and deployment of the application as well as its database (MS SQL Server 2005).
Installation and Configuration of eCommerce PHP Applications.
Apart from software development, Accent Technologies had other electronic businesses online. Some such other activities I've
been a part of, at Accent were installation and configuration of eCommerce PHP scripts, such as Zen Cart and Megento for
overseas clients. This involved configuration and maintenance of web servers, database servers, DNS servers among other
network configurations. These constituted my secondary responsibilities.
Database Designing, Troubleshooting and Normalization / Denormalization
A number of database development projects would go on in parallel at Accent. My responsibilities also involved database
designing, normalization / denormalization of existing databases, fixing bugs and implementing post developmental changes
based on updated specifications,on such projects.Although most of these projects were Windows Forms applications,they gave
me good exposure to database programming.

Airline Fleet Scheduling System - This projectrequired developing a solution which could createa schedule,over a period of time
for a fleet of n aircrafts.The clientwas an airlinegiantfromthe MiddleEast. It was soon discovered to be an NP hard problem (in
computational complexity theory). Such problems usually do not have a solution and even if they do, it's not possibleto find itin
polynomial time.
3. EMSFDC - It was being developed for the Emergency Services Department of the government of United States. The system
consisted of exactly identical Windows Forms and ASP.NET Web applications. The Windows Forms application was designed to
be run on regular PCs whereas the Web application was meant for hand held devices. This meant whenever any change was to
be implemented, itwas to be done in both the versions.I worked on designingand bug fixingthe Windows application aswell as
its database.
A reporting tool from LogiXML - This assignmentrequired the design and development of a reporting system which would meet
certain custom requirements of the EMSFDC project. Logi Report was a free web based reporting tool, based on XML. It had little
to do with programming and was more about designing.

Part of the algorithm design team, also responsible for the GUI.
Worked on designing and bug fixing the Windows application as well as its database.
