This document lists and summarizes the reasons for the author's top 10 favorite Pokémon: Kingdra has a unique type combination and good overall stats; Togekiss has a strong learnset including rare moves and can function as a special wall; Swampert has high defenses and can learn strong attacking moves; Arcanine is fast and strong; Milotic has great stats and can function as a special tank; Metagross has weak early stats but becomes very powerful; Slaking has a poor ability but strong stats and learnset; Staraptor is a highly recommended flying type with speed and attack; Salamence is an obvious top choice; and Garchomp is also an obvious top choice that many trainers

2. 10. Kingdra Reasons -It has an interesting type combination, which means it has no more weakness to Ice. -Other than its speed and HP, its stats are very good, making a total base of 540. -It has a very good learnset.

3. 9. Togekiss Reasons -It has one of THE BEST learnsets of all pokemon, being one of the only few non-legendary pokemon having Extremespeed and Aura Sphere as Egg Moves. -It’s a special wall, making its total special stats almost half of its base stats. -It may not have very good physical attack, but its first ability, hustle, makes up for it.

4. 8. Swampert Reasons -It’s a FRICKIN’ TANK! -It can learn Hammer Arm, Muddy Water and Earthquake which all deal 95 or more damage. -It may have a 4x weakness to Grass-type, but it now is immune to Electric-type attacks and it can defeat Steel-type pokemon.

6. 7. Arcanine Reasons -It’s quick. It’s strong. What else do I have to say?

7. 6. Milotic Reasons -It has great stats, though it is hard to get. -A great special wall and if used correctly, it can be a special tank too.

8. 5. Metagross Reasons -It may start off weak but if you raise it enough, It becomes one of the strongest pokemon.

9. 4. Slaking Reasons -May not have the best ability in the world, but ends up with a great learnsetand great stats. -Its stronger than most legendary pokemon.

10. 3. Staraptor Reasons -Most highly recommended Flying-type pokemon other than legendries (by me, of course.) -Has great Speed and attack with a very good learnset.
