How Goal Alignment Drives Real Business Results

Whether you are a dedicated team of fifty or a global workforce of thousands, what is the simplest
practice you can put in place to maximize profitability? Implementing effective goal alignment in support
of a well-defined strategy.

Goal Alignment, the process of aligning individual employee goals with the larger overarching goals of
the organization, ensures that each employee has visibility into the direction of the business and how
their specific role contriubutes to that direction.

Though the benefits of effective goal alignment are many, it’s important to recognize those with the
greatest business impact:

      Improves and Accelerates Operational Execution. Move quickly from strategy planning to
       strategy execution.
      Increases Employee Morale and Improves Retention. Creates ownership in the
       organization’s success, resulting in more engaged employees and increased retention rates.

Operational Execution

Goal alignment allows for a quicker execution of company strategy. Without proper goal alignment to
strategy, every bit of forward motion is a struggle. With everyone working together towards the same
objectives, your company can execute strategy faster, with more flexibility and adaptability. Essentially,
goal alignment strengthens your leadership and creates organizational agility.
