5. VMI’s Objectives
• Bring Vietnamese marketing and management knowledge up
to international standards as well as contribute case studies
and empirical research in the Vietnam context to the world’s
knowledge pool.
• Attract and link organizations and scholars, who are working
on consultation, education, research etc, either in Vietnam or
overseas, to develop the management capabilities of
Vietnamese leaders, particularly in the business sector.
• Share the knowledge and experience in modern marketing and
management with Vietnamese organizations and businesses;
improve the perception of the community and businesses
towards marketing and management application that adds
value to organizations.

• Nguyễn Trung Thẳng (PhD), President
Currently he is the Founder, Chairman cum CEO of Masso Group. Before, he was
responsible for the strategic retail development at Shell Asia Pacific, during which time
he worked intensively with Mckinsey & Company.
• Phạm Trí Hùng (PhD), Vice President
He has many years of experience in research and training about Corporate
Governance. Now he is a lecturer at the Law University of Ho Chi Minh City.
• Lê Thị Ngọc Hân (MA), Executive Director
She has profound experience with many international NGOs such as UNICEF and Save
the Children-UK. She also teaches English at Cleverlearn and Vietnam-USA Society
English Training Center.
• Lưu Trọng Tuấn (PhD), Head of Research Department
He researches and lectures about Performance Management and serves as a visiting
lecturer at the International University of Ho Chi Minh City.
• Gabriel Tan, Head of Training Department
He has a great deal of experience in developing and training the human resources at
many companies. Before he was a training and HR manager at Shell Inc.
