Building a custom video (or photo) solution into your mobile or web applications can take considerable time and money. This document explores those costs and explains why our team at WellcomeMat decided to build Framesocket, a new help service aiming to help those who might want to build apps that leverage video, but without having to create the whole backend from scratch.

2. In 2005, my business partner (Christian Sterner) approached
me with a problem he wanted to solve. A year later we launched
our first startup, a boot-strapped company called WellcomeMat.

4. WellcomeMat was going to help people watch property and
places online with real full-motion video. In five short years,
our company has evolved from a small team with a simple
idea to an internationally recognized service powering video
for the world's top real estate brands.

6. In 2009, we began recognizing more of our customers (and
consumers) using their mobile devices to share and explore real
estate online. With this insight, we decided to create an iPhone
app that would help our members record video tour of a property
or place, tag it's location, and instantly share the video online
with their clients.

10. Pegshot helps anyone with a mobile phone share videos or photos
of what’s happening where they are. These “shots” can be tagged
to places, spaces or events and broadcasted online instantly.

12. However, building custom video (or photo) solutions into
your mobile or web applications takes lots of time and
considerable investment.
