- 7. Myths about data
If I don’t supply my data, that will stop CoreLogic from using it.
This is incorrect. There are many ways to access property sales data which is
publicly available. This includes supply through other sources, including government.
CoreLogic can’t run my data unless I give express permission
Properties for sale on the market is publicly available information. While you own the
rights to images and text, the facts about a property for sale can be gathered and
collected through multiple sources once it is on the market without permission.
If CoreLogic is already collecting the data through other means, there’s no
need for me to do anything.
The fastest and most accurate way to get your results and listings into the system is
to supply them yourself. Relying on CoreLogic to collect through other means
ensures your data is slower and may not be presented as you’d like.
