Founding Partner David B. Salkowitz has been
practicing Landscape Architecture in
California since 1990, and his 20 years of work
experience encompasses many successful
projects throughout the US, and the
international community.
Formerly a Principal and Studio Director with
one of the industry’s leading international
hospitality and gaming-resort design firms,
David brings with him a focus in leisure-resort
and hospitality design and project
management. In addition he exhibits an in-
depth understanding of entertainment-
oriented mixed-use projects, as well as
"California-Lifestyle" influenced, multi- and
single-family housing projects, and luxury
family estates.
Also a former Principal and Design Director
with one of Southern California's premier
residential master-planning and landscape architecture firms, his project-visioning and
design-development leadership skills are well-honed, and have been instrumental in
directing all aspects of design for a number of California and international master-planned
residential projects. His art direction has included detail design for important planning
elements, such as community entries, neighborhood recreation centers and parks, as well
as establishing the community landscape theme and identity.
David is a graduate of Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape
Architecture, and a CLARB certified Landscape Architect licensed in the State of California
(#4895). He is also a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects and the
Urban Land Institute.
Founding Partner Paul T. Wong’s 24 years of
experience in the landscape architecture and
planning profession includes collaboration on
large-scale communities, multi-family
residential, international hospitality, mixed-
use/retail, model homes and custom
residences.
His career began in 1987 with a 13 year tenure
at HRP LanDesign, where he was promoted to
Senior Associate. In 2000 Paul’s professional
growth continued to flourished, when he co-
founded Land Arc West, and nurtured the
fledgling design company to an impressive
medium-size office of 35 employees.
Paul and his partner sold Land Arc West in
2007toMissionLandscapeCompanies,giving
them an instant presence in the landscape
design-build industry. As Vice-President he
devoted his energies to the transition and
integration of the two companies, along with overseeing the daily operations and project
client services, until his departure in 2011.
Paul’s project experience has taken him across California and to international destinations
like China and Egypt. He brings with him a global and regional design approach by applying
an initial broad view to a project to ensure its appropriate fit into the fabric of the surrounding
communities.
Paul’s participation and lead of project consultant teams, is underscored by his strength in
project management knowledge and experience, allowing him to confidently guide any
team through the development and construction process.

10. The Palazzo - Las Vegas, Nevada
This luxe $1.9 billion, 3,000 all-suite resort sits on merely 14 acres over the LV Strip's only 4-level subterranean parking garage. The
Palazzo is the nation's largest Silver Leed certified building, and features 3 acres of lush roof-top-gardens with 7 swimming pools,
3 spas, 5 fountains, and several themed architectural bar and pavilion structures, as well as 50 private canvas cabanas, all
overlooking the Las Vegas Strip on the 4th floor over the casino.

11. Paris Casino Resort - Las Vegas, Nevada
This 24 acre, $785 million casino property has been in operation since 1999, and features iconic Parisian architectural elements such
as a 5/8 scale replica of the Eiffel Tower, a reader-board sign in the shape of the Montgolfier Balloon, a two-thirds size Arc de
Triomphe, and a replica of the famous La Fontaine des Mers fountain. A 2 acre Versailles inspired formal French garden and pool
deck are located on the roof-top above the casino, with themed cabanas, trellises, and mature canopy trees.

12. Green Valley Ranch Resort - Henderson, NV
The 500 room, Green Valley Ranch Resort & Casino property encompasses 40 acres, with 8 acres dedicated to outdoor recreation
and entertainment. Venues include a contemporary pool area with a sand beach dubbed 'The Backyard', and a daytime club pool
named 'The Pond'. A spa and wellness complex, private hotel-suite gardens with plunge pools, and a manicured lawn amphitheater,
are all enveloped in a rustic Tuscan vineyard setting overlooking the city lights of Las Vegas Valley.

13. Red Rock Casino - Las Vegas, Nevada
The 800 room, $925 million Redrock Casino Resort is layed-out on 72 acres, and represents Station Casino's flagship property. The
resort includes a multitude of indoor-outdoor entertainment venues and lounges, such as the 'Cherry Nightclub' pool. The ultra-
modern, desert themed resort includes a 3 acre pool area with wading pools, swim-up bars and gaming, and private cabanas. The
entire pool area also converts into an outdoor concert venue, with an audience capacity of 3000.

15. Lombok Resort Golf Clubhouse - Lombok, Indonesia
This luxury golf resort clubhouse has been carefully planned to nestle into the existing natural topography and pristine, tropical
landscape. The project is envisioned and themed after a traditional Indonesian family compound, and takes full advantage of the
sweeping views across the golf course to the Indian Ocean. Terraced view decks with stepped fountains and lily ponds, spill down
to the golf starter terrace. Terraced rice paddies with spillways, provide a dramatic backdrop to the 18th hole.

16. Dolphin Cove - St. Thomas, USVI
This luxury resort community is planned for 64 villas, 36 luxury flats, and 4 oceanfront bungalows, available for seasonal and
permanent residency. The self-sufficient community includes resort amenities such as tennis courts, fresh and salt water swimming
pools, sand beaches and hiking trails. A historic US Navy dolphin training facility is converted as a recreation center and beach club,
hosting a restaurant and a fitness center, with sweeping views of the Caribbean Ocean.

17. Mandalya Resort - Bodrum, Turkey
The 42 acre resort, with 400 garden rooms and 37 villa suites with private plunge pool patios, is located on the Bodrum Peninsula,
and is set into the steep coastal terrain overlooking the Aegean Sea. Amenities include a porte cochere drop-off with spectacular
views, a central pool area with terraced sun decks and cascading infinity-edge pools, as well as 3 tennis courts and meandering
trails. Sand beaches, open lawn, and an island with a water sports boat dock are located near the waters edge.

18. Wynn Golf Course - Las Vegas, Nevada
The 18-hole, 7042 yard, par 70 golf course was designed by world renowned golf course architect Tom Fazio, and was constructed
on the historic Desert Inn PGA course property. 800,000 cubic yards of earth were moved to create dramatic 45 feet elevation
changes, lakes and streams, and a 37 foot waterfall at the signature 18th hole. Approximately 1,200 mature pines were salvaged
and re-used from the historic Desert Inn Golf Course, some as old as 50 years and over 60 feet tall.

21. Pacific City - Huntington Beach, California
The 31 acre beachfront infill property consists of 10 acres of visitor-serving commercial uses along Pacific Coast Hwy, adjacent to
a 17 ac. high-density residential village. The commercial center is planned for 240,000 s.f. of retail, restaurant and commercial use
with outdoor pedestrian promenades and plazas, and a 400 room 8-story hotel. The residential village is organized into 3 distinct
neighborhoods clustered around open space amenities such as parks, pool areas, and public walkways.

This 30 acre, $218 million retail-lifestyle center will feature contemporary architecture with 500,000 s.f. of retail, restaurant and a
luxury theater anchor tenant. Innovative "Linear LED Technology” integrates light, sound and movement into the architecture of
the project itself, creating an original interactive multi-media environment. The flexible central plaza with a 'zero-edge' fountain is

29. Goodyear Ballpark - Goodyear, Arizona
This $108 million, 10,000 seat ballpark is the latest addition to Arizona's 'Cactus League' spring training facilities, and the official
home for training operations of the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds. The ballpark's 'Home Plate Plaza' is the centerpiece
of a planned mixed-use development, with retail, high-density residential, office and a hotel/conference center. An iconic sculpture
fountain, shade palm grove, and carved sandstone benches are expressed in a stylized 'Desert Oasis' theme.

In an effort to modernize Major League Baseballs' third oldest stadium, the LA Dodgers Organization has vowed to make Dodger
Stadium the 'greenest' facility in the league by striving for Silver Leed certification. 100,000 s.f. of new architectural improvements
are complimented by an 18 acre 'Green Necklace' with plazas and extensive landscaping, which envelops the stadium with retail,
restaurants, and special event areas, allowing circulation of the venue within a secured fan entertainment zone.

phase, centered around a focus of sustainable design, consists of two 4-story office buildings, 6,500 s.f. of restaurant space, a
65,000 s.f. athletic club, 175 room hotel and a 6-level parking structure. Landscape features include 3 unique fountains, including

The preservation effort of the 60 year old historic 'Downtown Library Branch' and its 1 acre 'Triangle Park', suggests to modernize
and expand the library facilities by creating a secured outdoor reading and sculpture courtyard, improving the building entry, adding
a garden cafe and terrace, and providing passive park amenities to the existing open space. An iconic fountain and monument plaza
with skyline palms, creates a visual gateway to the historic downtown district.

by gently sloped berms and trees, with a central pond fed by quiet streams and soothing waterfalls.

This Southern California oceanfront mansion, is located on merely a .25 acre, $12 million lot, in one of the last unoccupied coves
along the Orange County Coast. The Provence Style inspired architecture includes a large center bar that steps down to the main
garden terrace. A cantilevered reflecting pool with glass bottom provides shade from above. The gardens adorned with antique
pottery and fountains, step down to the beach in terraces with an infinity edge plunge pool, spa, and sunken fire pit area.
