With Wordle, you can create a word cloud from text or a URL. You add the text or URL, click "Go" to generate the cloud. You can then randomize the design, change the color scheme or layout, pick a different font. You can save the cloud to the Wordle public gallery by filling in information and getting a URL. This URL allows you to delete the cloud later or share it by copying the URL without quotes. You can take a screenshot of the cloud and crop it to save locally and then insert into documents, presentations, blogs or print posters.

2. Go to www.wordle.net

3. Click Create.

4. Add text or a URL.

5. Pasted text and click “Go”.

7. Click Randomize for a new design.

8. Click “Color” to pick a new color
scheme.

9. Click “Layout” to pick a new layout.

10. Pick “Font” to pick a new font.

11. Click “Save to public gallery” to share it
on Wordle.net.

12. Fill in the information and click OK.

13. Save the URL for deleting it in the
future.

14. Copy the URL from the code to get the
link to your word cloud.

15. Take a “picture” of your screen by
pressing Alt + PrntScr

16. Open up Paint (in Accessories)

17. Click “Paste”

18. Use the “Select” tool to select the part
of the Wordle that you want to save.

19. Click “Crop”.

20. Save it as a JPEG.

21. Now that it’s saved to your computer…
• Insert it into a PowerPoint.
• Insert it into a Word document.
• Print it out and make it into a poster.
• Put in in a blog post on your blog.
• You can do anything with it!
