ISTE.NETS (2012) ISTE provides a mass of information to assist teachers and administrators gain knowledge about the NETS and skillfully apply them. ibid

- ISTE.NETS (2012) Creative thinkers and innovators:Students use their previous knowledge and engender creativity.Their work is original due to personal creativity or group creativity-They will use any form of tools to investigate complex situations-They will also give their own evaluationCommunicating and collaborating:Digital tools are being used to dialogue and work together. They get to discover information about other cultures.
- Digital Citizenship:Students learn to use the medial tools wisely and are very conscientious of lawful practices and decent behaviors. They demonstrate a positive attitude towards technologyAlso demonstrate responsible attitude as “digital citizenship”
- Facilitate and inspire student learning and creativity:This can be done through the use of support for “face to face and virtual environments” Students are ready to learn and apply new things. They are creative in their own rights. If the necessary tools are available fro them, they will entertain you with their talents. Teachers should be there to allow them to invent and be critical thinkers. Let them be a part of the real world and have them to solve critical issues using medial tools and resources. Students learn by modeling. Be available to them through the use of modeling the knowledge you have and be involved with them while learning.2. Design and develop digital age learning experiences and assessments:Teachers should be the type of creative thinkers that will develop or use experiences that facilitates the use of media tools so that students can learn. Students are very curious. They should be allowed to “pursue their own educational goals, manage their own learning and assess their own progress”. Many of them have preferred learning styles and activities should be based on how they learn. There should be several types of evaluation methods to asses students performance.3. Model Digital age work and learning: Teachers should demonstrate the “knowledge, skills and work processes” that will show that they are “global and digitally” literate. All this should be communicated through modeling to students, parents peers and the community at large. For effectiveness to occur, teachers should also “locate, analyze and evaluate” information modeling digital tools.
- ISTE.NETS-T (2008)4. Promote and Model Digital Citizenship and ResponsibilityIt is always good to know the information surrounding legal practices. For successful teaching and learning experience to occur student should be taught how to safely used information. These include but are not limited to “copyright, intellectual property and the appropriate documentation of sources”. Also appreciate all cultures and have students believe that culture is not a barrier to learning media tools. Once you are willing to learn, effectiveness will take place.5. Engage in professional growth and leadership:It is crucial for teachers to practice CPD. This is demonstrating “lifelong learning”. Teaching is not a stagnant profession. One continues to learn on a daily basis. Technology is now upon teachers and most students have already caught the “vision of technology infusion”. Teachers need to get on board and to add technological flavor in their impartation, modeling and involvement of knowledge.
