The document analyzes Pamela Muhart's time management over two days. On day one, she spent most of her time (72%) on important tasks in Quadrant 2. On day 2, she spent less time (16%) on important tasks and more time (12%) on unimportant tasks like shopping. Her strengths are prioritizing, making to-do lists, setting deadlines, and focusing on critical tasks. Her weaknesses are procrastinating, multitasking, and not reading selectively. To improve, she will work on her weaknesses and continue using effective strategies like to-do lists and taking breaks while working.

3. Introduction
“Things that matter most must never be at the mercy of
things which matter least.”
—Goethe
The above quote is so meaningful because it can be applied to
everything in life. Time management is used to do just that: use the
best time in our day to do the most important things first. Time
management is used to increase effectiveness and efficiency in what
we are doing or completing. Throughout this assignment I was able
to evaluate my use of effective and efficient time management and my
results are graphed and assessed in the following slides.

Today I also spent most of my time in Quadrant Two, but I spent a lot of
time in Quadrant Four. This time was spent on Facebook and shopping
rather than doing the work I needed to get done. This day was not as
productive as it should have been, and if I had done the work rather than
shopping I would not have had to stay up as late doing homework.

6. Strengths vs. Weaknesses
Strengths
• Prioritizing my tasks
• Making a list of things
to do each day
• Setting deadlines
• Determining the critical
20% of my tasks
Weaknesses
• Procrastinating
• Multitasking
• Reading selectively

7. Strengths vs. Weaknesses
Analysis
Based on the Rules For Efficient
Time Management article, my strengths
and weaknesses are listed in the above
slide. I believe that my strengths are
both efficient and effective. When a
person or an organization is being
effective they are reaching their goals
for the day, month, year, or whatever
their timeframe may be. Personally, I
set daily goals of what I would like to
accomplish each day to keep myself
productive and on the right path for
finishing assignments by a certain date.
Once I am able to diminish my
weaknesses for completing
homework I will be on an even
better path towards efficiency and
effectiveness. Of course, every
now and then I have days I need
to stray from my “To-Do” lists to
take time for myself and
relax, however I do feel that how I
operate now is both effective and
efficient with my time.

8. Conclusion
During these two days I realized that I really am efficient in
getting done what I want to get done during the day. However, I
need to be in an environment that is quiet and allows me to
really focus on my work with little distractions. The “To-Do” lists I
make for myself keep me on track more than the days that I do
not have a list. I found that taking ten to fifteen minute breaks
while doing homework and switching the coursework after the
break helps me to focus more clearly. As for working on my
weaknesses, I believe that I need to continue practicing reading
my textbooks and various articles selectively. For the future I
should continue to do these small tasks for keep my days
productive.
