This document summarizes the technology plan and focus of Landis STaR Chart 2009. It discusses forming a committee to evaluate the current technology use and data to create a long-term technology plan. It notes the campus focus is on the Educator Preparation & Development department and ensuring technology education is included in first line instruction. The community served is highly diverse. While progress has been made in some areas according to the STaR Chart data, more focus is still needed on education preparation and development to ensure students are ready for life's technology challenges.

4. Campus Focus Our Campus focus is to get our first line instruction which is our Educator Preparation & Development department on board. Our greatest strength is our campus leadership. The data states that we have the necessary tools but, we are not taking advantage of the materials on hand.

Technology Plan form a committee invite several stakeholders from different areas (students, parents, teacher, local leaders, administrations) take a survey, evaluate the current data, and put a long term plan into actions education preparation and developing first line instruction this should include technology education as well

7. Our Community Alief is the most ethnically diverse of school districts of comparable size in Texas. Virtually every culture of the modern world is represented in its 45,000 student enrollment; more than 60 languages and dialects are spoken. Alief facilities including 41 campuses, are a focal point of the community and represent a major property investment by its taxpayers.

11. Landis in 2010 As I reviewed our campus data we are making strives in three of the 4 areas of the STaR chart. We need to focus more on education preparation and developing. We must focus on developing a plan and curriculum to ensure our Landis students will be ready , equipped, and prepared for life technology challenges. This data tells me that our campus is moving forward but we must be committed to incorporate or embed technology into our lessons.
