I am a well-known expert in the Perl programming language. I get called in to fix serious problems. I rescue legacy code bases, fix databases, build test suites, make developers more productive, and teach companies how (and when) to be Agile. I am a consultant, not a contractor. While I am sometimes hired to add new features to a product, I am generally retained for the heavy lifting. Also, I live in France. I sometimes travel to be on site, but I work remotely.
