Report about ETRC Spring School 2013
The school started on the 4th of March 201 31 and lasted for 4 days. This was an event that united
teachers from both lyceums and universities of Moldova. During these 4 days of training, teachers
had the opportunity to attend the seminars and workshops presented by the experts in the
English language both local and foreigners. The four days included 15 sessions, some of them
were running simultaneously so the teachers had the chance to choose which session they
would like to attend more. Thus, it gave us possibility to divide the participants into smaller groups.
Besides seminars there were organized meeting with FLEX alumni, representatives of the Ministry
of Education, Mihai Calalb, who spoke about the e-twinning program; and representatives of
Smartboard Technologies, Ion Dodon, who make a presentation of the advantages of using
smartboards in the classroom. The schedule of the events can be seen below.

impressions bout the Spring School. It looks like the School left only positive impressions, some of
the teachers are eager to run new projects and all of them found something useful in the
presentations. The participants were also asked to grade the presenters’ preparation. It ranged
between 8 and 10. The usefulness of the seminars was graded between 8 and 10 as well.
