International Sports and Education Program
This international initiative will aim to improve education by supporting and
advocating fitness, nutrition, sporting and play activities throughout the
country of Norway. We will aim to improve health and nutrition, develop life
skills, and foster peace for children. While training local community leaders
in becoming coaches as well as role models, we will advocate and deliver
development through American Football.

∗Basic Education and Child Development
IS EP will foster the physical, cognitive and social development of
children to teach important values and life skills.
*Health Promotion and Disease Prevention
IS EP will be used to educate and mobilize communities around
national health and disease prevention, including child obesity,
overall fitness, nutrition and health awareness.
*Conflict Resolution and Peace Education
IS EP will be used as tools for teaching conflict resolution and peace
building skills, also promoting alternatives for troubled youth to
channel their energy through sport and activity. Participation in
regular activities encourages and facilitates the healing of
communities and the reintegration of misunderstood children into
society.
*Community Development
IS EP will work in partnership with local organizations to build
sustainable community infrastructure through the engagement of
local staff and both local and international volunteers.

Resources to Allocate
Training Equipment- Dummies, Sleds, Shields, Helmets, Pads, General Gear
Advocacy Platform- Integrate American Football into both Junior and High Schools in
Norway
Football Camps- Keep youth interested and healthy year round by supporting
nationwide American Football camps
Community Work- With public and international funds, research and find youth with
troubled backgrounds, child obesity issues and or education
deficiency.
Under 13 League- Funding for U-13 league, subsidizing equipment and fees, so children
retain no cost to try out the game
Man Power- Funding for man power to develop sustainable programs, which
promote American Football throughout Norway.

Team - Community Partnerships
Create Partnerships with Minnesota Vikings’ Team and other NFL Communities
Minnesota’s community is heavily populated with ancestral Norwegian-
Americans, whom may be interested in fostering child development initiatives
through community work and promotion of American Football in Norway.
ISE Programs will not only create dynamic change, but also allow
sustainable growth in youth behavior and overall fitness. Ultimately allowing
each partnered community to benefit from the development of youth, the
expansion of education and the participation in American Football.
