My Proudest Moment
My proudest moment was when my daughter graduated fifth grade with honors. I was so
excited and really felt great to watch her receive so many awards and as she was showered with
all those praises by her teachers I felt I was a successful parent and couldn’t wait to congratulate
her and celebrate the success. My daughter always did well in and out of class and was much
disciplined but the fifth grade graduation with honors was a far greater thing for us all. The
awards she received were not only academic and that is a sign that she is well involved in all the
school activities. It was a great moment to watch her match to the podium to receive all those
awards and as a parent I couldn’t hide the joy as all attention was focused on her.
Some of the awards that my daughter received were the physical fitness award in which
she broke the record at her school for the v-sit. She also got a physical fitness award and a patch
that was signed by the president. My daughter was awarded for being of the most excellent
conduct in the school and the neatest some of the other awards were the school honor roll third
grading period and the school honor fourth grading period. She also received the patrol award
and finally she was awarded the graduation certificate. As a parent the school and the parents in
the graduation ceremony couldn’t fail to recognize my joy as I accompanied my daughter to
collect her many awards. I felt so proud I couldn’t wait to get home and celebrate the success of
my daughter.
