The NGO can support the Task Force on Charting Illicit Trade (TF-CIT) in several ways: 1) The NGO can help identify good policies and practices to reduce illicit trade in wildlife, counterfeits, narcotics, humans, and other illegal items. 2) As an NGO, it is able to access funding and expertise in a way that industry and governments cannot due to less bureaucratic restrictions. 3) The NGO proposes using various technologies to monitor threats in real-time, analyze data, track assets, and allow for interagency cooperation to more effectively combat illicit trafficking.
