2. Shashlik (kebabs) Shashlik is one of the most popular dishes with both men and women here in Dagestan. It is cooked from marinated mutton,tomatoes and onions.

6. Manty (Pies with meat prepared on the steam) Make a dough mixing flour, salt and water. Roll out thin and cut into pieces 10x10 cm. Put the meat filling inside. Cover with the left dough and prepare on the steam.

16. Fried Eggplants Take some good size eggplants, cut them along and rub them with salt. Leave for half and hour, them wash in plenty of water. Fry on a frying pan in sunflower oil. Serve hot. Enjoy!
17. The recipe is the same, but cut the eggplants into round pieces not too thick. Fry in plenty of oil. Serve with tomatoes and sour cream or mayonnaise.
