Stop by for good food, games, safety messages, and conversation
2. USO - FRGs are welcome to host “Open House” meetings at the USO. These meetings are designed to provide a different venue for the FRG
meeting and introduce troops and families to the USO’s services and programs. An FRG can host one Open House meeting a quarter at the USO.
FRGs of deploying units are welcome to host a deployment get-together at the USO prior or soon after their unit deploys. For both events, all
we ask is that the USO be allowed to provide a brief presentation on programs and services we offer for troops and families. The USO’s fire
marshal capacity is 250; however, it is most comfortable at 100-150 because of its unique design. The USO will provide free sodas and Girl Scout
cookies to all the units who host events at the USO. If an event is during business hours, we ask that the FRG be understanding of the patrons
who may be using the facility at that time and that if outside food is brought in, the patrons also be allowed to partake. Ask your FRSA’s for
assistance on filling out the form for the USO.
