This course aims to equip librarians with instructional design skills to collaborate with teachers and improve instruction. It consists of 7 modules that will teach librarians how to analyze learner needs, design effective lessons, implement instructional plans, evaluate results, identify technology tools, and understand co-teaching models. The modules break down the instructional design process, provide resources on principles and techniques, and include pre-and post-activities for each topic. Learners should work through the adaptive course with a collaborating teacher to apply the skills to real-world practice.
