The University of Glasgow Library is one of the oldest and largest university libraries in Europe, dating back to 1475. It holds over 2.5 million texts in a 12 story building opened in 1968 that also houses the Hunterian Art Gallery. The library provides study space for over 2,500 students equipped with hundreds of computers and has received over £10 million in funding in the last decade.
