3. NeoBird – Who we are
NeoBird, one of Europe´s most exciting game start-ups (according to Develop 100), was founded in Dec.
2012 and already has delivered over 10 F2P-games to a variety of customers ranging from videogame
publishers to F2P network operators to publishing houses. NeoBird builds different types of games based
on different business models. The company resides in Nuremberg and consists of 14 team-members who
believe in solid growth, German workmanship and achieving success by building fun.

4. NeoBird – Our heritage
Before founding NeoBird in Dec 2012 Mr. Martin Schiele founded the qForge GmbH together with two colleagues from
college in 2005. The company started out with advergames and moved quickly to the development of multiplayer flash
games. After a initial phase of cooperation with the Spilgames B.V. It was aquired by Spilgames in 2009. Qforge
spearheaded the development of realtime multiplayer games for the more than 180 million UVs on Spilgames network
of international gaming sites. Over 40 titles were produced and most of them are still in operation (please check:
www.qplaygames.com / All IP property of Spilgames B.V.). In 2012 Spilgames B.V. changed strategy and enabled Mr.
Schiele to found his current company. As of today both companies still maintain a healthy business-relationship.
Whilst being a part of the Spilgames B.V. The current leadership at NeoBird deepend its understanding for businessorganization (qForge workforce was doubled in 2011), workflow-management and coordination with an offsite
stakeholder. Most importantly our current partners benefit from the professionalism and cross-cultural competence
we aquired whilst we were part of the world-market leader for online-gaming-portals.

5. NeoBird – Why we are unique
NeoBirds USP:
True cross platform game experience: We deliver our games across a plethora of devices (iOS, Android,
Windows Phone) and platforms (Social networks, browser, consoles) without compromising quality. We
enable on- and offline play. Relying on our highly scalable proprietary, backend-architecture we can
deliver realtime PvP/multiplayer/Coop gaming experiences across all devices. As we build a unified user
pool on our side all combinations (iOS vs. Android, Browser vs. App etc.) are possible.
And although we believe in and actively advance Html-5 (Haxe, Flambe) we do not cling to it. We can
also go „native“ or deploy a Flash/Adobe Air combo if it benefits the game at hand more.

8. NeoBird – What we like most
- We enjoy building complex games that appeal to the male demographic (12-99 yrs) without shutting
the door on a the general audience. We achieve this by merging highly accessible gameplay-mechanics
with depth and breath of core games. Our preferred settings are RPG, Medieval, Fantasy. We also have a
knack on racing, duels and action in general.
-We love to add social / multiplayer-components to our games and to bring people from different
devices together in an global event.
- We are curious: Our investigations in Dice+ technology and our experimentation with wearables
(GoogleGlas) stand as a testimony to our continuous curiosity.
