Jimmy Choo’s CatchaChoo
Inhabitants of London were invited to
follow CatchaChoo on Facebook,
Foursquare and Twitter. There, an
anonymous Jimmy Choo representative
released hints about her activities—and
occasionally "checked in" at a public London
venue.
The objective: to race over and find the
representative, who'd be carrying a pair of
shoes. The first to approach her and say
"I've been following you" received a pair of
Jimmy Choo trainers!

Burberry works it on the digital runway
New York Fashion Week has been a boon in business’ social media innovation.
Burberry’s show was livestreamed & a select number of pieces were available for purchase
immediately afterward. Also, Burberry invited customers into 25 of its flagship stores (in 16
countries, no less) to watch the event live via 3×3-meter HD screens.
Employees will distribute iPads to participants so that they can browse and purchase many of the
items they’ve just seen via a custom-built app. Orders will be delivered in roughly seven weeks —
i.e., several months before the rest of the collection will be available to everyone else.

Foursquare adds new plug-in
A new "add to my foursquare" button can be embedded on any website.
If you own a business or publish a web page about any real-world location, this very simple button
will allow visitors to your website to add going to your location as a "to-do" item and receive a push-
notification to their phones whenever they check-in anywhere nearby.
This small button could deliver a substantial part of the promise of Foursquare - tying
together our discoveries online with our experiences offline.

65% higher engagement rate than afternoon posts.
- People tend to check Facebook early in the morning, and then
again before lunch.
