The story of Gohar Textile Mills reads like a classic tale of dedication, hard work and entrepreneurship, from Humble Beginnings in Manchester, UK,
over 43 years ago, to one of the largest operational double width textile mills in Pakistan currently. The name and quality promise of Gohar Textile
Mills is today synonymous, with the needs and demands of global clients & top brands around the world, such as Primark in the UK, Logan &
Mason & K-Mart in Australia, Home Center in the UAE, along with Karsten from Brazil & Sheraton from South Africa.
Founded by SM Randhawa on the belief & unique vision of “An organization focused on optimum level of quality and satisfaction of its business
partners”, the company has achieved phenomenal growth & acquired an impeccable reputation through the exacting management standards set
by the team of Co-Founders, and subsequently steered forward under the leadership of Mr. Maqbul Ahmed.
Today, Gohar Textile Mills situated in the Historical city of Faisalabad, ironically also hailed as the Manchester of Pakistan and Modern day hub for
Pakistan’s Textile Industry. The Operations is managed by the third generation of the founder families, and its stakeholders, with the same
meticulous standards as set by their earlier generations, yet with an innovation that is accredited & regarded internationally. It ranks amongst the
top preferred global textile companies to work with in Pakistan, for guaranteed quality standards.
2013 marks the 20th anniversary of Gohar Textile’s Operations in Pakistan. This year, innovation and diversification takes a leap forward with the
introduction of TGTP, a retail & lifestyle brand diversification project for the urban consumer market. The Gohar Textile Project, is the vision of Gohar
Textile Mill current Executive Management Team, spearheaded by CEO, Ch. Ilyakat Ali, Director Marketing, Mr. Gauhar Mustaffa, & Director Operations,
Mr. Muhammad Aftab Gauhar. Already known for producing quality fabric and products for renowned brands world over, Gohar Textiles plans to
penetrate into local market of Pakistan by introducing premier quality LAWN fabric made of pure Egyptian cotton from the onset of TGTP.
In Spring 2013, TGTP launches its Premier Project & Lawn Collection designed by the illustrious Farah Leghari, Pakistan’s Legendary Global
Ambassador of Fashion spotlighted and celebrated the by the world’s media for her designs worn by Camilla Parker, the duchess of Conwell, and
wife of Prince Charles on their official visit to Pakistan over 5 years ago.
Gohar Textile will launch TGTP at physical locations both locally, and internationally, along with a global online store offering broad range of quality
& high fashion home textiles, clothing and garments from Mid 2013
