This document discusses several bibliographic enrichment services including Syndetics Solutions, Content Café 2, and Blackwell's table of contents services. It describes how they automatically generate contents notes and annotations to enhance catalog records. They extract summaries, reviews, and tables of contents from publications to add valuable contextual information to library catalog entries. This allows patrons to more easily evaluate resources and helps OPACs provide richer, more informative search results.
