This document provides instructions for an individual project assignment requiring students to analyze a print advertisement. Students must select a print ad and write a 250-300 word analysis answering five questions: what publication the ad is from, the target audience and what indicates that, a description of what the ad depicts, which common advertising strategies are used and an opinion on the ad's efficiency. The analysis must be typed, include a cover sheet and the ad, be written in complete sentences in a proper paragraph format, and is due on Tuesday, September 17th 2013, with a 10% per day late penalty.
