What is it?

The design thinking process is best thought of
as a system of overlapping spaces: inspiration,
ideation and implementation. Inspiration is the
problem or opportunity that motivates the search
for solutions. Ideation is the process of generating,
developing and testing ideas. Implementation is
the path that leads from the project stage into
people’s lives.

Lecture and workshop by Ofer Deshe,
customer experience expert at T&T.
In this workshop you will discover how a story
makes a product more appealing to consumers,
how to test a concept by building a narrative and
how to balance showing and telling. You will also
learn how to sketch and create exciting service
presentations for clients, VCs, colleagues
or partners.

founding partner at Happen.
This lecture will uncover how to create useful
innovation that the market appreciates and how to
sell your idea to clients or investors.

innovation that has generated over $2 billion
in incremental revenue for many of the world’s

service using research
Lecture and case study showcase.

can conduct research that will lead to

Neuroscience of creativity
Lecture and workshop by Darius Pocha,
founder of JoyLab.
Darius is passionate about the way our brain
works and where does creativity come from. He
will run a workshop that will help even a non-
designer learn how to be more creative and
design professionals will be able to find out how to
get more ideas even if you don’t feel inspired.
JoyLab is a service design company that creates
in-house innovation labs and runs them for the
entire project duration or works with the existing
teams to put in place the right techniques and
processes for the company to run it themselves.
Among their clients are Ebay, Chanel, Tesco, Sky,
Argos, LastMinute and many others.

Cultural
programme
This course is also designed to show you London
from a number of different angles. Every day is
packed with activity. You’ll be visiting acclaimed
exhibitions and museums – ­whatever’s the top of
the must-­see list at the time­– and also exploring
some of the secret spots in London that most
visitors never get to experience.
You’ll be able to see the best view of London from
the top of a skyscraper; you’ll get to visit the most
exciting events of the year; and you’ll discover
where London’s creative community spends their
free time. In addition, you’ll get recommendations
to guide your own explorations, with tips on the
best places to eat, drink and relax in the capital
of UK.
And of course at the end of this intensive week
we are hosting a party for all participants, with
lecturers, special guests and people from the
industry. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to
get useful contacts, be introduced and just enjoy
the company of inspiring and successful people.

Every day consists of:
Boosting breakfast
During the boosting breakfasts
you will interact with other
participants, share your ideas,
experiences and expectation
for the day and meet local
professionals to get to know
more about the backstage of
the creative industry.
Morning session
It is the first session of the day, it
will take the form of a lecture or a
hands-on workshop.
Practical exercise
A short task to follow up
the morning session and make
everyone unlock their brain’s
full potential
Afternoon session
The second session of the day,
where you will have a chance to
visit another top London agency
and listen to their team
revealing secrets they use in
everyday work.
Debrief and the city
Discuss the content of the day
with other participants to better
organise it in your mind. It will
take place straight after the
afternoon session in locations
that we can then visit as cultural
and social activities such as
museums, galleries, event
spaces or bars.

You’ll gain inspiration for your work, and get expert opinions on your current projects.   • 3. 3 The design thinking process is best thought of as a system of overlapping spaces: inspiration, ideation and implementation. Inspiration is the problem or opportunity that motivates the search for solutions. Ideation is the process of generating, developing and testing ideas.   • 9. 9 Neuroscience of creativity Lecture and workshop by Darius Pocha, founder of JoyLab. Darius is passionate about the way our brain works and where does creativity come from. He will run a workshop that will help even a non- designer learn how to be more creative and design professionals will be able to find out how to get more ideas even if you don’t feel inspired. JoyLab is a service design company that creates in-house innovation labs and runs them for the entire project duration or works with the existing teams to put in place the right techniques and processes for the company to run it themselves. Among their clients are Ebay, Chanel, Tesco, Sky, Argos, LastMinute and many others.
  • 10. 10 Cultural programme This course is also designed to show you London from a number of different angles. Every day is packed with activity. You’ll be visiting acclaimed exhibitions and museums – ­whatever’s the top of the must-­see list at the time­– and also exploring some of the secret spots in London that most visitors never get to experience. You’ll be able to see the best view of London from the top of a skyscraper; you’ll get to visit the most exciting events of the year; and you’ll discover where London’s creative community spends their free time. In addition, you’ll get recommendations to guide your own explorations, with tips on the best places to eat, drink and relax in the capital of UK. And of course at the end of this intensive week we are hosting a party for all participants, with lecturers, special guests and people from the industry. It’s a great opportunity for everyone to get useful contacts, be introduced and just enjoy the company of inspiring and successful people.
  • 11. 11 Every day consists of: Boosting breakfast During the boosting breakfasts you will interact with other participants, share your ideas, experiences and expectation for the day and meet local professionals to get to know more about the backstage of the creative industry. Morning session It is the first session of the day, it will take the form of a lecture or a hands-on workshop. Practical exercise A short task to follow up the morning session and make everyone unlock their brain’s full potential Afternoon session The second session of the day, where you will have a chance to visit another top London agency and listen to their team revealing secrets they use in everyday work. Debrief and the city Discuss the content of the day with other participants to better organise it in your mind. It will take place straight after the afternoon session in locations that we can then visit as cultural and social activities such as museums, galleries, event spaces or bars. 1 2 543 Educational programme lasts 5 days, Monday to Friday. Saturday, Sunday – free time, with an optional cultural programme.
