19. WTN?/Gaming Food for Thought:
(where to next)
Speak to your child about creating a username/game name/alias/gamer tag/screen name
that they can use online that doesn’t identify them.
Do you know what your child is playing? Do you know who your child is playing with? Are
they monitored while online?
MLG (Major League Gaming) is a sport, good players can earn hundreds of thousands of
dollars in tournaments held around the world.
Does your child know how to stay healthy while playing/working online? Ergonomic
micro breaks are essential, as are food, water and exercise. Possible risks from long hours
a day spent gaming are deep vein thrombosis , dehydration, exhaustion, psychosis.
This is an interest of mine, from my personal experience there are positives and negatives
to gaming. If you want to know more feel free to come and talk to me about it
