3. Epithelial Tissue They are tissues that live in the interior and exterior of the body surfaces, also known as known as simple epithelium. Some functions; Protection, Sensation, and Absorption. Examples – Squamous, Cuboidal, Columnar
4. Connective Tissue Connective tissue is responsible for providing structural support for the tissues and organs of the body. Examples – Embryonic CT and Ordinary CT.
5. Nervous Tissue Nerve impulses that are transmitted through the body. Examples of Neurons – Unipolar Neurons, Bipolar Neurons, and Multipolar Neurons
7. Homeostasis The ability of an organism or cell to maintain internal equilibrium by adjusting its physiological process. Example - sweating to maintain normal body temperature.
8. Feedback Inhabitation The process in which a stimulus produces a response that opposes the original stimulus. Examples- Controlling blood pressure
