SAP Inside Track 2015- Moving from BW to HANA
Once upon a time there was a BW system that had some problems...
…and there were several reasons for such state of things...
- complicated model in SAP BW
- huge amount of data
- redundant data (several layers)
…so they powered it up...

…but that was not enough, because of some additional factors...
- small amount of queries used, huge amount of queries in the system
- no documentation for current model
- non-SAP reporting tool loved and used by users
They decided to change this state and go for simplicity...

So they went all the way up...
…and that’s how they did it...

C. Planning of the model
D. Model implementation
E. Model testing
F. QlikView creation
Data model
A. Model for Actual values on HANA
B. Model for Budget yet in BW
C. Model for special process yet in BW
