22. The Real Issue(s)
• 98% of all technology software and services are
sold to only help colleges and universities
function and compete against each other.
• Education is the only industry that has not
helped their customers navigate, shop, and
plan like a smart consumer.
• There are no education and career consumer
products that validate, share, and shop against
the landscape we call education.
• Most technology companies stay away from
policy related issues that will solve the issue.
23. "The White House Office of Science and Technology and
Department of Education continues to challenge the
public to get creative to solve some of the most difficult
decisions in education. We appreciate the
creative submissions by thought leaders at universities
like Oral Roberts University at the national level. It will
be thought leaders like this that continue to help
solve the student success issues for future generation."
~ Nick Sinai, United States Deputy Chief Technology
Officer at the White House

Imagine if the students, parents and employees could visualize their destiny in a graphical manner by accessing and analyzing all the data from the educational performance systems, degree pathways, bureau of labor statistics, personal needs, workforce trends, workforce pathway, and their own personal assessment data throughout their lifetime. If the data and ownership of this liberated data were available, it would be much like the GPS but called the EPS – Educational Positioning System, or Education and Career Positioning system which allows the journey toward a rewarding career more visual and realistic
