2. Initiate the project charter as appropriate with requisite
information – circumstances dictate the charter’s
importance; as scope and risk increases so does the
importance of the charter
3. Determine if pre-work is required – if so, plan and conduct
the data collection and preparation for the LSS & Kaizen
using the methods provided
4. Determine if training is required to on-board the LSS &
Kaizen team – if so, use the materials in this training as
appropriate with other resources
5. Develop a working agenda for your LSS & Kaizen team and
meet with them to set expectations in advance of the first
