FDM’s ERPI module supports ERP adapter data integration to Oracle EBS (11, 12), PSFT (9 GL) and SAP R/3 (4.6c, ECC6), including drill-back. Metadata may also be loaded from EBS and PSFT to EPM apps via FDM ERPI.
FDM supports load and drill-back adapters for HFM, Planning, Essbase and HSF. And load adapters for Enterprise (drill-back as from Enterprise 6.5.1 TBC), with the ability to configure the Essbase adapter for HPCM.
Drill-back from the Workspace, Financial reports and SmartView is supported for HFM and Planning in 11.1.1.3.
Drill-back from SmartView is supported for Essbase 11.1.1.2.
Drill-back from the HSF interface is supported from 11.1.1.1.

Oracle Hyperion ERP Integration Adapter is a module that enables you to integrate metadata and data from an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) source system into an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) target application and drill through from the EPM target application and view data in the ERP source system.
We are reviewing a report that displays our actual vs. plan variances for the month that just closed. We need to investigate and explain any variances above $5000.
Drill on the hyperlink for A_7420 Rent Expense.
This will launch a landing page which acts as a gateway to the data in the source system. The ERP Integrator landing page displays general ledger accounts and the hyperlinked balances that were used to populate the cells in the EPM application. The top portion of the page displays the dimensions in the target EPM application. The bottom portion of the page displays the EBS account combination, description, period and the period activity. When you click a hyperlinked data value, you can drill through to the source system and view the associated journal entries for the selected general ledger account.
Click on the hyperlink.
Click on the PTD hyperlink.
When you navigate to the Oracle General Ledger Balances page, you can view a table listing all the general ledger accounts that contributed to the drilled value shown in the Hyperion EPM application for the specific period. This table includes a breakdown of all the general ledger accounts values with hyperlinks, enabling users to further drill into the Journal Lines page in Oracle General Ledger. Users can then view all the associated journal entries for
the selected Oracle General Ledger account.
This page displays the Journal Lines.
Click on the bottom-most hyperlink.
Click on View Journal Entry.
We can drill all the back into the journal batch this transaction was posted in.
This is a display of all the journal entries posted for rent charged from Building Management, Inc.
Click on the Next 10 hyperlink.
If we return to our variance report, we can open the annotation that explains this variance.
From here, we can adjust our plan to increase the rent for the remainder of the year.
Click on the paper clip icon, then click on Adjust Plan.
The VisPlan1 Planning application will open.
Select the Rent values for Jun through Dec, click on the Adjust icon and enter 5170 (the monthly rent for the branch).
Click the Adjust Data button. Note the cells are highlighted in yellow to show they’ve been changed.
Click on the Review Variances task.
You also have the ability to drill-through to EBS directly from within your plan.
To display the drill-through icon, click in the Rent Expense cell for Actual Jun, then click again. Do not double-click as this will open Supporting Detail. When the drill-through icon displays, click on it.
The landing page will display and you can drill-through as before.
You can also choose to document variances within Planning itself.
Enter a comment in the Variance column and click Save (this will resize and display properly with a higher-resolution screen).
Click on the next task to launch the report with the updated commentary.
Return to the Planning application.
The drill-through capability is also available in SmartView.
Click on the icon to Open in SmartView.
The cells with green borders indicate drill-through.
Right-click on the Rent cell for June and select Hyperion > Drill-Through Reports.
The landing page will launch and you continue drill-through as before.
