Resume indicates I have over 35 Years of Total Professional experience in the technology industry and
the last 15 years being a SQL Server DBA (70%) and SQL Developer (30%). Below, please find a brief
summary of my database administration/development on-the-job experience.
Database Administration:
 Migrations from SQL Server 2008 r2 to SQL Server 2012
 Managed and maintained SQL Server 2008 r2 database servers, logins, roles, database backup and
restore policies, and assisted in HA/DR processes
 Monitored server performance and usage by using RDCM (Remote Desktop Connection Manager) to
manage 50 to 100 servers including SQL Server, SharePoint, CRM and Clustered environments
 Monitored and corrected database applications objects including stored procedures, triggers,
indexes and functions performances
 Created Database Migration and Execution Plans for database upgrades from 2000, 2005 to 2008
including databases, database objects, DTS to SSIS packages, data and scripts
 Created multiple SQL Server 2008 Failover Cluster network servers to match governmental SQL
Cluster networks.
Database Development (in association with Database Administration):
 Developed “Scripts to Order” requested by developers, QA and managers
 Created script processes for handling critical data merges between our DEV, TEST, STAGE and
PRODUCTION environments using Dell Quest Toad
 Investigated and resolved database systems for deadlocks, blocking and overall lack of performance
by using DMVs and DMFs (Dynamic Management Views and Functions) and Catalog views.
Configuration Management:
 Prepared databases for Agile Development and SCRUM processing
 Assisted Configuration Manager in creating and managing sprint merges; forward and reverse
integration; release maintenance and further full version management using Visual Studio 2012 TFS
 Performed multiple version releases to production and to client facing environments including
deployments of XML Data, SSRS Daily Reports and SSAS Business Intelligence Reports and
Databases.
