GBC was producer of thermal laminating foil until 2009. This was done on two extrusion lines. This foil
was slitted to customized sizes on 8 different slitting machines. Also GBC was supplier did the installation
of laminating machines. In 2009 her activities were taken over by Cosmo Films Ltd. from India.

This organization, in which 48 people were employed at that moment, was operational in the metallurgical
industry and produced molds on behalf of the semiconductor industry for the encapsulation of Microchips.
This organization was a part of Berliner Elektro Semiconductor Industries N.V. (Besi).
∗ Responsible for the development and implementation of a Quality System which satisfied the ISO-9001.

With this training I made a switch in my study in January 1992 and enlarged my industrial knowledge. In
this course we used some modules of the Open University, like: Organizational Knowledge, Operational
Management, Material Management, Physical Distribution Management, Information systems en
