Specific designed space
for student centered learning activity
in Kauffman Foundation
The student centered learning means that every learning
aspects must be based on the student and not to the
teacher. The student should be the subject that learn
not the object to teach. This concept make the teachers
change their role from “someone who will transfer the
knowledge” to be “someone who will facilitate the
whole learning activity to make sure the student can
gain knowledge by their own ability to learn”. This role
needs different facilities to support the learning activity
running well. One of the facilities is a space where they
learn; which should be designed to fit those unique
activities. Here is my observation to Kauffman Labs for
Enterprise Creation facilities.
