Exciting Edinboro University cultural seasons
fill spring semester with fun, engaging options
EDINBORO, Pa. – A gripping documentary about sexual assault on college
campuses, a musical comedy about blood-eating plants, and nationally recognized
performers are among the headliners for Edinboro University’s cultural seasons
during the spring 2016 semester.
Through gallery exhibitions, recital and concert series, theater seasons and a film
series, Edinboro provides a wide array of art and cultural events for the campus as
well as the surrounding communities.
The strong spring 2016 lineup includes the National Juried Printmakers
Invitational now on display in at the Bruce Gallery, the upcoming Edinboro
Players production of “Little Shop of Horrors,” and the indelible sounds of the folk
quartet Rani Arbo and Daisy Mayhem, presented by the Performing Arts Series. A
highlight of the semester for the Music and Theatre Department will be a choral
2. concert by the famed U.S. Navy Sea Chanters, and resident theater company
Laugh/Riot will present the absurdist play “Six Characters in Search of an Author.”
In its 10th
anniversary year, the Edinboro Film Series has a stellar lineup of
critically acclaimed films, including the much-talked-about documentary “The
