2. What is the Bible
The bible is a book with many books in it. The bible was
written over 2000 years. The bible has been split in
two parts the old testaments this part was written
before Christ (Jesus) and the new testament this was
written during Christ's life , death and resurrection.
Jesus did not write the bible himself many people
wrote it they were called prophets.
3. The old testament
Also know as the Jewish scriptures which was
written over 1000 years.
There are 39 books in the Christian old
testament and 46 books in the catholic bible.

4. New testament
The writers of the new testament wanted to tell the
world about Jesus Christ– his life teachings death and
resurrection
These 27 books were written in Greek less than 100
years after his resurrection.

5. How the bible answers ethical
issues
The Bible offers simple answers to ethical
issues. It helps us to make sense of our
lives and it makes them so much easier so
that’s how the Bible answers ethical
issues.
6. How the bible answers questions about
ultimate questions.
Christians believe that the Bible is
the way of life or the answer to
life. so they read the bible to help
answer there own ultimate
questions.
7. How and when do Christians use the
Bible?
Most Christians will take time out of
there day to pray or read the Bible
and reflecting on what it says.
Christians use the bible in Church or
at there own private places. In
churches they read 2 or 3 passages
from the Bible.
8. The Catholic
The Roman catholic Bible is not much
different to the Christian Bible but
there are a few differences like
Catholics have more books in the Old
testament like Judith, the Wisdom of
Solomon, Tobit, Sirach
