In a place where the grapevine means culture and tradition, the Petriolo Wine Farm evokes the smell of soil and tired hands, the scents of the grapevines, passionate souls and people’s mem- ories treasured in a grape. These experienced people have made our wine the authentic expression of the craftsmanship of Tuscany. The renewed commitment of two young men, Emiliano and Matteo, nurtures a new story, lively and enthusiastic, which makes it possible for the past experience to be enacted again through a quality wine production. That’s Petriolo, a story which gets reinvented through the encounters with people.

7. Petriolo Stemmi - Chianti
Chianti has always been the quintessential Tuscan wine, a product which has made its region
famous throughout the world. The rich clay and limestone soil together with a favorable climate,

were set up for the production of Chianti and since 1932 a disciplinary code establishes the
number of vines for every hectare, the grape varieties and the organoleptic features.
