2. Key
learnings
• The
end
user
/
stakeholder
is
extremely
important
in
the
design
thinking
process
–
you
need
to
understand
them
and
be
able
to
drill
down
to
the
real
problem
so
that
can
design
a
solu:on
that
meets
their
needs.
• The
process
of
idea:ng
helped
me
to
create
many
ideas
that
could
help
solve
the
problem
–
it
enabled
me
to
change
my
thinking
process
and
come
up
with
many,
many
different
ideas
–
previously
I
would
have
jumped
to
one
or
two
solu:ons
and
just
focused
on
them
instead
of
opening
my
mind
up
to
many
different
possibili:es.
• Prototyping
and
tes:ng
some
of
the
solu:ons
with
stakeholders
provided
me
with
valuable
informa:on
quickly
that
helped
me
to
know
if
I
was
crea:ng
something
that
solved
the
problem
and
also
gave
me
further
feedback
to
improve
on
the
idea.
4. Reflec8on
• Design
thinking
brings
the
stakeholder
to
the
front
of
mind
and
enables
me
to
develop
solu:ons
that
meet
my
stakeholders
needs.
The
process
has
enabled
me
to
understand
the
needs
of
the
stakeholders,
drill
into
what
the
problem
actually
is
and
then
develop
many
different
ideas
/
possible
solu:ons
which
I
can
then
quickly
prototype
and
test
with
stakeholders
to
ensure
I
am
hiEng
the
mark
and
also
modify
the
idea
to
improve
it.
• From
a
personal
perspec:ve,
design
thinking
can
help
me
solve
issues
that
occur
outside
of
work
–
with
my
family,
friends,
and
people
I
interact
with
outside
of
work.
The
process
of
design
thinking
helps
me
to
think
of
the
issue
from
the
stakeholder’s
perspec:ve
and
talk
to
them
about
the
issue
and
come
up
with
many
ideas
that
could
be
a
viable
solu:on
and
be
able
to
test
these
ideas
with
them.
• From
a
professional
perspec:ve,
design
thinking
enables
me
to
focus
on
the
stakeholder
and
apply
methodology
that
allows
me
to
capture
&
create
many
ideas
that
will
help
solve
an
issue.
It
has
stopped
me
jumping
straight
to
solu:on
mode
before
understanding
what
the
real
issue
is.
I
am
currently
working
on
some
LEAN
ini:a:ves
and
applying
design
thinking
alongside
the
LEAN
methodology
will
help
the
project
team
come
up
with
a
solu:on
that
is
of
value
to
the
end
user
and
the
organisa:on.
